The funkammo pistol question.

Hi folks. Funkammo is having a special where they will sell you a complete ar pistol lower with single shot sled installed. All i have to do is send them an upper so that they can send your ffl a complete pistol to dros. The only upper i have to send is a cmmg 22lr complete dedicated upper. If your ffl accepts the pistol do they input the caliber on the dros? Basically am i locked into using that upper and not a 556? Thanks
