Interesting observation about ghost spring kit for glock

Just ordered the complete kit for like 8 bucks or something (why not) and installed the 4lb firing pin spring first and immediately took it out. It was too light and I hadnt even received my 3.5lb "ultimate" connector yet so I swapped it out for the 6lb one. Also installed the reduced power safety plunger spring and 6lb trigger spring. Overall a lighter pull, but it definitely didnt break as clean as the stock springs. Little mushier I guess. Will the 3.5lb ultimate connector smooth this problem out? I only spent about $20 when all is said and done so its not a big deal if I leave it stock. Just wanted to try it for ****s and giggles.

By and large, the ONLY time a Glock becomes unreliable is when you start messing with the internals in my experience.

Unless it's a competition gun, you are best leaving the internal components stock.

That exact thought came to my head after installing them. The trigger actually wasnt even that bad before hand. Just wanted to replicate that while reducing it a pound or 2.

As far as I know my 17 RTF came with a ghost 3.5# connector, I didn't notice a major difference until I got my 23 with the stock trigger, only then could I feel it be a little lighter in pull weight, still mushy and long take up. Nothing dangerous or gross about it. Again just slightly only if I look for the trigger pull differences.

I don't think it has the spring just the connector tho. FWIW.

I installed a glock minus connector with the ghost competition spring kit on my 19 gen 4 and am really happy with the results.

Yeah. I liked the stock trigger, but for about $20 or so I figured it couldn't hurt to experiment. The stock setup was a nicer pull (actually pretty goddamn clean break and overall good pull) but with the springs installed it is a little lighter. I will wait for the connector to get here before I make up my mind, but if it's not any better I will just re-install all the stock parts.

I run the Ghost Rocket 3.5 kit in all my Glock's (3.5 connector with OT tab, lightened springs (I leave the stock striker spring in) and I do the $.25 trigger polish as well.

I have always favored lighter/smoother triggers.

Installed the connector and it helped with the mush but didn't lighten it that much. Might play around with the springs but overrall I am happy.
