    CZ SP01 in .40 cal?

Looking to get a CZ SP01 in .40 cal.

Does anyone have any opinion/input or recoil compared to the 9mm version.

Opinion on Pros and Cons? Or even thoughts. Thanks!

I'd imagine it would be one smooth shootin 40. I have a CZ 75b in 40 and recoil is a nonfactor. 9 mm is like shooting a 22LR pistol imo.

I'm curious of the same thing, and would love to hear what people have to say.

My main concern difference-wise between the two is capacity. I think the 40 is 12+1 and the 9mm is 18+1. That's quite a difference.

^^Good point, but having extra rounds dont count in this wonderful state.
So 10rds of .40 and 10rds 9mm is all the same aside from bullet weight, or specialty rounds. 0.2

I am a big fan of the .40 and own many, have a SP-01, 75b and Canik Shark in 9mm really like them in 9.
Had a P-06, really did not like it. It felt awkward when I carried it and the slightly increased recoil of the .40 with the shape of the trigger did not work well on my trigger finger. Also at the time 2010, CZ's mags for the P-06 we're not the best, I sold it.
I am looking for a new steel .40 gun but have shy'd away from CZ because of the P-06, may have to rethink that.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

I have replaced the trigger on my P-06 with the newer 85C trigger, polished the fcg, installed reduced fpb spring, 13# hammer spring, shortened the reset by modifying the fpb lifter, and installed a CGW disconnector to remove the slack in SA. The slide is wider than the P-01. I installed a DPM reduced recoil system which slows the recoil impulse and mitigates the muzzle flip in rapid fire. The SP-01's extra muzzle weight should soften up the recoil and muzzle flip for the .40 caliber. I haven't had any problems with the oem mags.
