    Colt Python

    Hello,

I have recently joined this awesome forum, and was wondering if anyone is willing to sell either the 4 inch or 6 inch Blue colored Colt Python in California? Any help is greatly appreciated, and hope to hear from someone soon.

    Thanks,

    Calvin

Welcome to Calguns OP! I've seen a couple of pythons for sale in the private firearms sales-handguns thread. There are some beautiful pythons for sale, just be prepared to pay the $$$$

    Here are some links...

Thanks, for the quick reply. Ouch 6k for a Python. I was originally planning on spending 3k for the gun, but its a bit steep.

Welcome! You might post in the WTB forum in the Marketplace.

BTW, you have excellent taste in handguns... Believe me, it's very refreshing to have a new member not waxing poetic about his new Glock!

LSB Investments has two blued Colt Pythons up for auction at Gunauction.com. They are a reputable company and the guns can be transferred as PPTs at their store in Simi Valley or sent to your preferred FFL if you are not in SoCal.

I welcome all newcomers, and if they are excited about their new Glocks, then more power to them! I hope they enjoy the heck out of it.

You don't need to buy a Python to be a good addition to the forums!

Welcome. Nothing better than owning and shooting a Colt Python. Don't let the $6K one scare you, that is the most I have ever seen for a somewhat normal Python. You are thinking straight, you will be able to find and buy a nice one for around $2K to $3K. Need to find one near you as it will most likely need to be a PPT, Private Party Transfer (I like to call them Person to Person Transfer as that is what needs to happen), so you don't want to drive a real long distance twice.

Welcome fatman. I once asked people here if they wanted to Sell a python. that was 4 Python's ago. The Classifieds on Calguns frequently have snakes for sale and at good prices.
Condition dependent of course. Man this place has definitely put a dent in my retirement fund :-) but your not going to lose any money on a fine Python. Enjoy yourself!

Calvin, they pop up pretty often but go REALLY fast. I'd suggest posting in the "want to buy" area and keep the post current by commenting on it daily. You'll land a snake. Then, like SFOGUN said, get ready to get broke. Hahaha. Happy hunting!

LOL, just FYI, that 6k python is a little inflated...but because it is the 2nd year of manufacture with original grips and a 3 digit serial number, it's super desirable.
