So in the wake of AB-1964 passing, I have a question about AOW's future in CA. I have an AR pistol that I was going to try and AOW. I figured that by now I wont get my stamp back until after Jan 1st 2015 so AB1964 will be in full force, will this bill affect my ability to AOW my AR pistol?

AB-1964 and AOW's

you already possess this pistol, correct, and it is in a semi-auto config now?
If so, in what way do you think 1964 would affect it if you put a VFG on it?Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
No posts of mine are to be construed as legal advice, which can only be given by a lawyer. -
If you are manufacturing the AOW from a legal AR pistol via ATF Form 1 and $200 tax stamp then there's no impact from AB1964. If you plan to purchase an AOW from an FFL, unless by some miracle of god, the ATF Form 4 will take 9+ months and would require SSE. With those time lines you wont make the SSE cutoff.Comment

Let us keep the AB 1964 questions in the open threads in 2a Politics and Activism.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
