Can someone lead me to a person who would be willing to help me mill out my 80% FAL receiver?

Pretty sure you need a gunsmith to do it, otherwise you are rising that person's equipment from confiscation.

    Particularly a FFL07

I did one many years ago.

It is nowhere close to being a simple as an AR, and that's a major understatement.

A great licensed gunsmith/machinist with good equipment and some special tooling is needed.

Not to mention FN's blueprints are not in the public domain as are the AR's.

Installing the ejector block is normally a biatch even on a completed receiver.

If I were you, I'd post the question on both the FAL Files and on weaponsguild.com. You might also ask Geoff at Arizona Response Systems too.

ETA...you may as well also ask the question here on the gunsmithing forums.

Please post back what you find.

hth and much luck...you may need it.

I think that may be illegal now. 70 FFL required.

DIY is still ok. But owning the machinery and tooling to mill out is now being included as part of the interpretation of building it yourself. No more paying for time on someone else's mill or cnc.
