can anyone chime in on the Walther trigger vs a 75 or SP with some CGW done?

I know its an out of the box vs a pistol with smithing work, but Im sure some of you have both or at least have shot both.

    Thanks!

Own both. Both are great, still different enough being Striker vs DA/SA

At that level it's splitting hairs both will shoot better than 99% of the shooters

Anyone know of any shops that have the VP9 in stock in the SF Bay Area?

Wow, the customizable grip panel feature is amazing. I'm able to get it to a perfect customized grip for my hands. Most people complain about it having 2 less rounds than a Glock 17. But the VP9 / P30 Magazine is not quite full double stack, so it's thinner, in order to have enough room to allow for customizable side panels as well as back strap. I've never been a fan of the blocky USP 45 grip, and HK45c while fitting rather well in my hands, is still not as perfect as the VP9 in my hands.

In dry firing I'm already noticing that I'm getting a better trigger pull by changing the grip configuration. I thought I'd get the best grip with Medium sides and Medium back. I tried just about every configuration. But in the end, it looks like small sides and small back strap is the winner for me. Go figure. Will have to see for sure after shooting it to see if I'm more accurate.

I agree the ergos for the VP9 is superior to the HK45c. However, if you get the Hogue tactical grip (not Handall) it is super tight fitting and hard to get on the HK45c....but it feels nice and doesn't slip....once you get it on.

At only 850 + SSE and dros fees. You'd think people would wait until SSE is up to make that kind flip profit. Good luck to the seller I guess.

VP9 will sell pretty well after 12/31/14.

i think the hard part will be people actually putting it up for sale.

I think a good number of people bought extra VP9's with the intent to sell the extras next year. The marketplace may become oversaturated with VP9s from all these folks who got the same idea of profiting from the end of the SSE.

good for CA guys that couldnt get one, but wants one.

there's constant people entering the firearms community, starting with pistol, and wanting the same pistol that the likes of Hickok45, Colion Noir, Sootch, MAC, Vickers, etc are shooting in their vids.

not to mention the "just turning 21" crowd.

might be oversaturated at first, but the stock WILL deplete and supply and demand will go up for the ones that can hold out and are willing to sell their VP9.

I would be lying if I said I haven't given much thought into flipping some myself in 2015, but to be completely honest, I have come to the conclusion that some things are better than profit. I ultimately decided that I would be giving one to a family member and showing her how to use it for protection, and the rest I'll be keeping as spares / backups. It's just that good.

Brought the G34 and VP9 to the range tonight. Also it was my first time shooting the vp9. Omg to my surprise, the vp9 out shot the g34. The groups were a lot tighter with the vp9 at 7, 10 and 15 yards. I was using freedom ammo 115 gain. The Glock fan boy will hate me saying that... but that's my mileage. I just shoot better with the vp9. I think the better grip and trigger on the vp9 made me shoot better (the g34 is stock, no mod at all).

I purchased the vp9 mainly because of the sse, last chance to get it. I thought if I don't like it, I can sell it next year and there should be no lost on value. After shooting the vp9, i will never sell it. Its a keeper.

Congrats. I took mine out with my PPQ and shot better groups with the VP9
