    Recommended: OC Custom Coating

My gun looked like this a few months back:

But dryfire practice has taken its toll on the rear sight. It was going to cost me $50 to reblue/refinish the rear sight.

So I took it to get the rear sight along with some other parts cerakoted for not too much more:

But part of the gun is going to have to go back for a refinish in about 3000 rounds. I scratched the chrome bushing because the gun was so tight I had to use a metal bushing wrench.

Paul does great work and the finished products looks great. I'll let you guys know how well cerakote works after a few thousand rounds.

Was the gun tight before Ceracoat? If after the coating was applied and it became tight, the coating was too thick.

I'm not really one who normally comments on the look of a gun...

      But that is beautiful.

Yeah it was tight already, bushing could not be turned by hand. HAD to use a bushing wrench.

Cerakote goes on thin, but .002 goes a long way on a gun that's already tight.
