    Sig P210 -->--> Questions <--<--

    Well, I have been on the CZ train for a little while now. Waiting on my SP-01 at the moment.

    All this interest in the CZ's lead me to the Sig P210. At the moment i know very little about the market for them.

    I am sure these questions have been asked before so please bare with me. Hopefully others will find the answers the these questions helpful as well.

    Please refer me to a few good Sig P210 information resources?

    Are Sig P210's still being manufactured new?

    How much am i looking at to get into a Sig P210? (High & Low of the market)

    Lets see some pics of your favorites!

    What is their general availability?

    Thanks for the assistance.

        Yes they are still being made and sold as the P210 Legend and Legend Target and Legend Super Target. The price is what has always been a bit steep for my bank account, with them running low end $1500+ up to and over $3000. I have seen surplus on occasions and even those are going for a steep price these days, or at least the ones I have seen are.

              The old Sig P210's are more accurate and better finished than the new ones. They will run between 2 to 5k usually. Love mine (have 2). I believe they were last made in the late 80's

              The new Sig-Sauer P210 Legend and Target are not as accurate or nice as the older ones (still nice guns). They are around 2.5k, but if I was in the market for another, I'd look for a classic one.

                  Where are you getting the bit about "less accuracy"?

                  It's a real question. I'm scouring the net for experiences shooting a Legend off of a machine rest. The test target that came with My P210-6 is a ragged hole at 50m. However, test targets nowadays with the Legend and the X-Fives are all hand rested at 25m instead of machine rested likethe older ones.

                    Both gorgeous though I far prefer the 'classic' over the duty setup

                        For myself and a few others (that have shot old vs new) exactly what you said. The new ones shoot at 25 yards (2 inch groups on a rest) vs 50 yards for the old ones
