I have looked everywhere for a new firing pin safety lever for my sw1911pd to no avail. I was wondering if anyone on here has one laying around, or a source to purchase one.

Call S&W customer support. They have been know to be very helpful and sometimes send parts for free!!My Marketplace Feedback: https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...k#post54003245 -
I've had one on order with Smith & Wesson since November. I called today and they told me they did not know when or if they would receive any more in.

Would the Brownell's Series 80 spacer (removed the series 80 safety http://www.brownells.com/handgun-par...prod13121.aspx ) work? I have a S&W 1911PD, and I know it's different from the Colt Series 80 firing pin safety, but maybe you could make it work?
Not good to hear that S&W is not stocking that part, it's easy to lose and not that sturdy...Comment

I have heard that if you just machine the plunger a little then you can install a standard titanium pin and extra power spring. I don't know if I like the liability of that though. I might not have a choice though.Originally Posted by OlderThanDirt.
