Any Colt experts on here? I need help

I need help. My elderly neighbor inherited several handguns and she's trying to determine the value. This one has me stumped because of the custom work.

It's a Colt MK IV Government model, series 70 with some custom work supposedly done by Tussey (if I spelled that right)

What do you guys think it may be worth?

You could contact Terry Tussey directly, he's still around -

Neat old school installation of S&W adjuatable revolver sights.

hard to tell from the picture, because I can't tell the condition of the slide, and the ridiculous checkered insert covering the custom stippling, but anywhere from 500-1500 depending on condition and tightness. It's not a collector's gun, it's a shooter. As I-Swan said, the S&W sight job is a nice feature, at least to me.

Thanks Guys! With the contact info provided I spoke to Mr. Tussey this morning. He remembered the guy he built it for and said in todays market, it's worth somewhere between $1200.00 and $1500.00.
