Les Baer Monolith break in complete

Well folks, today I hit the 600 rd mark with the Mono and she is running top notch with zero issues.

Before I commence any further, I want to thank forum member Sammy, who lives nearby for great shooting instructions and other help. Was a pleasure shooting with you and the other guys today. Sammy also brought a FN SCAR 17 and an BCM AR 15 and I got to shoot both. May have to save for a long gun now....

So here are a few pics from today's adventure. I even got brave and hit the 25 yd line for about 50 rds.

Here's my best grouping from 15 yds, look at that lower left one...woo hoo:

And here we are at 25 yds, let's just say I was getting tired at this point. Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it....

Here we are at take down:

Ah crap, how does it go back together????

Ok, I figgered it out....all dressed up and ready for a date:

Can't wait to get to the range again and get her all dirtied up again.

    Thanks for looking.

Good shooting and beautiful gun. What kind of grips are those and where did you get them? They are very nice.

Thank you! They are Two-Tone Honduran Rosewood Burl and my friend Zane at www.lonestarcustomgrips.com made them.

Thanks for the kind words. I had a blast coming out today. That gun shoots very well. What an amazing trigger.

His shooting has improved very well in only 2 range sessions. We had 2 other friends come out and try some rifles. We had a 3" shoot-n-see set up and Ellison was the only one to hit the black. As a matter of fact all 10 rounds were in the black. He made it look easy. Give it a few more times and we can play some serious battleship!

I decided to accept the pistol the way it is and worry about more realistic issues... like life! Thanks for remembering.

Didn't you get that like two weeks ago? You should have had 600 rounds through it two weeks ago!

Good shooting. Dolt you just love how easy it is to clean a hard chromed gun? I literally wipe down my Hi Power after shooting it since nothing sticks to the metal.

I'm glad you decided to keep it. The interior of a full length dust cover looks cool.
