Anyone have commentary on the G42 who own or handled one?
Everything I've read is mostly negative. Should be a 9mm, too big for 380 etc.
Official Glock commentary is they couldn't make the G42 smaller without giving up the shooting properties they had in mind for the G42 and 380.
380 to me is for micro conceal or backup so I don't mind the lack of 9mm for sub compact carry.
Question is the G42 a better 380 to shoot than the p238, lcp, bodyguard and everything else in that space? The g42 is bigger than those guns but does it really give you benefits for the big size trade off?

, but not for any negative reasons on the G42 itself), and those issues where people say it should be 9mm or it's too big for a .380 are all non-G42 owners and are just reviewing the gun from their computer chair without (most of them) having actually shot it quite a bit.
