Single Shot Exemption in Bay area?

I am new to the Bay area, is there any shop around here that does single shot exemption for pistols? I am looking for an easy going shop that will perform single shot exemptions on handguns and some odd stuffs like MP5K clones.
I'd rather be at the range!

Try Digital Instincts Firearms in Sunnyvale. Great guy.

Try Peter at Mt Pleasant Arms, Digital Instincts, Solar Tactical or if you don't mind the drive Tracy Rifle and Pistol. Tracy Rifle and Pistol is the easiest for me to deal with but it's a bit of a drive.

Digital Instincts is very good, it's in sunnyvale, so you're you're east east bay it's not going to be convenient.

There's also Brian Nussbaum on the peninsula, up in Burlingame. Stock looks impressive, but didn't reply to a PM inquiry about a potential purchase...

Nussbaum won't let you order the gun. Either buy it from their stock or they order the gun for you. Drives up the price me thinks.

+1. Peter was very easy to deal with and very reasonable charges. All his info is on his website. There are 3 or 4 online retailers he won't deal with (kygunco for one), but he suggested grabagun.com and they were great. Peter will also block mags down if you supply the blockers from a legit commercial company. He suggested magazineblocks.com which makes blockers for just about everything.

Tracy Rifle & Pistol. They are one of the originals.

Also suggest Elite Arms in Manteca, has plenty of SSE in stock at great prices. Just need to make the drive. Cool thing is its right next to Basspro and Tracy Rifle and Pistol is not too far away.

Peter at Mt. Pleasant Arms in San Jose. Excellent, personable, no frills, in and out in 10 minutes. A great guy providing a great service in a great manner.
