Well, the new A380, from RIA. Looks promising. Something to fill that gap RIA hasn't addressed: The 6-8 Rd, single stack, 380 acp market.
The Glock 42, although it wasn't the first, I must admit, Glocks are not appealing to me, the G42 was made because Glock wanted a piece of the action of that market niche. Now gun manufacturers are following up if not, solidifying their offerings for that market. Namely the subcompact (not micro), single stack, 380acp, genre.
We Have the LC380, Bersa Thunder 380, G42 et al.
You know in July of this year Bersa (Eagle imports) will be offering stateside the new Bersa BP380cc (plastic, single stack, 380, DAO, picattiny rail).
Well now Rock Island Armory, is coming out with the new Baby Rock (RIA A380) in September of this year. Its the RIA offering into that niche:
I will be the first to attest to the fact that the quality and performance of the current RIA offerings have been excellent. Except in price, they do rival the -top dogs-, as it were. This new gun, granted, just as the G42, will probably be purchased mainly by its followers.

Here is a larger picture of the gun:
Notice that is is loaded with features for a small 1911-style gun. Rear and forward serrations, extended beavertail, semi-bobtail cut, rounded and bobbed hammer. And I still haven't mentioned the business side of the A380:
