Wolff spring trouble with Glock 29

I recently purchased a 19lb. uncaptured guide rod and spring kit for my Glock 29
The spring feels like it hangs up a little, like it's dragging slightly. Anyone have similar trouble?

I would guess so since it is now metal to metal instead of plastic to plastic, and if you are racking it slow to purposely feel it.
The basic oxide finish on the Wolff guide is not the smoothest.

Just rack it normal, if it functions fine, you should be good. Live ammo, ya not going to notice at all .

It fires and cycles fine. Maybe it will smooth out?

          You tell us, hehe.

I am still trying to wear out my factory rod, pops 40 and 10mm just fine with the same spring.
