    Lonewolf 40-9 barrel, Jam

just went to the range today with my glock 22. put the new Lonewolf 40-9 barrel in. loaded a fresh magazine, and ONLY after my first shot when it failed to feed the second round. the tip of the bullet would stop right at the bottom of the feed ramp. to fix, i simply pulled the slide all the way back and let go and it fed. This tended to happen only after that first shot was fired, and OCCASIONALLY to the third shot. after that it cycled fine throughout the remainder of the magazine. why so? any ideas? shooting the .40 cal barrel it had zero issues whatsoever. i kept the same spring using the 9 barrel

    Was it the same mag?

I've run my 23 GEN4 with my lone wolf just shy of 1k of 9mm and haven't seen or had a jam yet. Even using the 40cal mags. Was surprised cause so many people poo poo'd the reliability of the LW barrel conversations.

Also HP or FMJ? I've only shot FMJ so far. I could see how HP's could have issues.

Weird symptom! I guess I'd try different ammo but failing only on 2nd rnd makes no sense to me either. I think I'd also try chambering a round then inserting a full mag. If it's then the 3rd rnd it's somehow mag related.

I'm mostly just tagging in to see of you find a solution.

Is it Gen 3 or Gen 4? It happened on my Gen 4 G35 until I replaced the captured recoil spring set up. Not an issue with my Gen 3

Are you running a factory 9mm magazine?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Gen 3 Glock. PMC FMJ. using a factory Glock 17 9mm mag entire time. I chambered a round and put in a full 10 round mag and it did Not have the issue.

Lonewolf says that due to the barrel being heavier, sometimes going to 124 or 147gr ammo may be necessary. The 2nd rnd failing still doesn't make sense thpugh. hwre's their notice http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=241
