    New P220 Two Tone

    My Two Tone P220,

Through an unusual set of circumstances I found my self with a brand new Nitron finish P220r and a almost new extra P220 stainless slide. I listed the slide first on Ebay and later on the Sig Forum and it did not generate much interest so I decided to make my P220 more like my P226 Two Tone. I added a pair of Blackwood grips and toped it off with the Stainless Slide:

I still have an extra New Nitron finish slide, I'm just going to put in the safe and think about
    what to do with it.

Nice, I've always contemplated getting a Nitron slide for my Railed 1911, but the only ones ive seen were on ebay for almost the price of the whole gun lol.

Oh, that's pretty. I have a P228 two-tone. probably the sweetest looking gun I own.

congrats. if i was to part with one of the slides, i would keep the one that is original to the gun.

Will the gun still function properly?

Why wouldn't it? I have test fired it with both slides. It is not uncommon to change slides; for example the Caliber X-change kits.
