My dad bought a 9mm CA shield there a few months ago.

I also bought a lower there last year.

They should all come in cardboard boxes.

I don't want to pay $20 more for a plastic box that I will never ever use once I get it home.

The box goes in a closet, never to see the light of day again. unless i move. or decide to sell the gun.

i'm lost on the "need a duper fancy gun case" hype. just give me the damn gun.

hossb7--is that magazine in your picture missing a black plastic piece (floor plate?)on the bottom? The 7 & 8 mags. that came with mine look different. Mine also have round holes not rectangular. I also bought 2 Pearce plastic extensions for the mags.

That's just how they're doing the SSE process - note the long barrel. That magazine has no floorplate or spring or follower.

The shield is like any other, comes with one 7 round mag and one 8 round mag.

That's my point tho. All the handguns I've bought only came in one type of box.

However, that's aside from the point that I don't care how they're packaged.
