Maybe I'm dense but I don't get it. They offered to exchange the 7 round mag for a 6 round mag for a couple of dollars in shipping. That's no good for you so you go out and buy a 6 round mag? Maybe that is not the red carpet treatment but at least they offered a stop-gap solution. Maybe the you need to leave the 7 round mag fully loaded for a few days to set the spring? Who knows. In the end your final solution is to sell the gun? Talk about cut off your nose to spite the face.

that is what they said at first. When I called to find out were the mag was,I was told they can't sent me a just mag. Was told I needed to sent the gun and mags to them to look over at my cost. They said never heard of any problems will the 7rd mag. The spring in the 7 rds is ****ed Twisted. I sent pics of the spring to them and was told that's normal. Then After talking to two diff people at kahr was told I didn't need to sent the gun but and they would sell me a new spring for $25 bucks no mag. So yet **** Kahr

I have a similar problem with my 8rd vs the original 7rd in my CW9. The 8rd won't drop free and sometimes won't seat properly which seems to be related to random feeding issues. No problems with the original 7rd mag. I would probably just replace the spring in your 7rd yourself (from someone else, see if there are Wolf springs for them?) AND get another 6rd mag. I stripped and completely cleaned the 8rd mag and that seemed to help a bit, but also noticed the little extended butt plate hits the bottom of the pistol, which may be the issue. There's a tiny gap with the 7rd one.

I stripped and cleaned the CW9 on Wed and used Jardine's Extreme lube and it seemed to really like it. It cycled and shot better than previous. I also completely cleaned the mags out and they seem to feed better now as a result (first time I cleaned them).

After my experience with a Kahr P380 I Wont ever buy another Kahr firearm. My P380 had consistent FTF,FTE failure to go into battery and failure to lock the slide back. After a few hundred rounds later and a few calls with Kahr I sent it back to them for a full factory 2013 update as they called it. Once I received it back after shooting 200+ more rounds out of it I still experienced the exact same problems.

Needless to say I sold the Kahr and bought a Sig P238 and I couldn't be happier. The Sig has zero problems and is a much nicer shooter imo.

do what I did and get the cw380 to match your cw9. It's cheaper than the p380

Almost forgot to post this before I go to bed. I got a box from Kahr Today and guess what. still no mag but they did sent me a extra box that the gun comes in when you buy it. but it was for there 40s&w so I don't know wtf Kahr CS is doing. I am not even going to call them as it is pointless.
