I had an SP-01 and I sold it. The ergonomics are great but I found that I prefer 1911's and not CZ's. Different strokes for different folks.......

I don't understand why there is so much hype around the SP-01. I myself am a victim of this and bought one without shooting it first. Its not all that people say it is, my P226 is much better in every aspect. Unless you could get one for super cheap I would just pay a little extra for a P226. Anyone Agree?

Like my SP-01 more than my MK25. Grip is way better. Trigger is not as nice but can be tuned.

Sounds good. But let me clarify, When I say P226 I dont mean the version with LCI or Mag Disconnect. I would rather keep the CZ then that version. Send me a pm with some pics. My SP-01 only has 50 rds through it.

Which P226 are you comparing to the SP-01? And was the SP-01 stock?

It's not for everyone, just like any one gun is not for everyone.

Good news is that selling it or trading it will not be difficult.

I'd say it had great features at a good price.

The feel of it, the reversed slide, all steel construction. It's only weakness might be it's trigger.

What did you hate about it? All pistols aren't for everyone, a lot of people like glocks and some don't.

I would take a SP-01 over any SIG, unless that SIG is single action only.

Get a snap cap and dry fire it a couple hundred times.

I've only shot three Sig pistols in my life. Each one broke or malfunctioned each time I tried them. I had a CZ75 SP-01, really liked it but sold it to finance a revolver I wanted more. Lots of people seem to be Sig fanatics, I am sure when they work, they are fine pistols but so far, for me, I would not touch one. If they made a CZ75 SP-01 in .45 ACP, I would buy it, I am kind of over 9mm.
