    Belt vs. Paddle Mag Holder

If I were to get my LTC my carry choice is my G26. I already have a comfortable IWB pouch holster for it.

I do not currently have a mag holder. I'm leaning towards a fobus 6900 double mag holder. But I'm not sure if I should get the belt or the paddle option.

Have you used both? Please share your experiences.

    Thanks

I've only had experience with the paddle option. I can tell you it's unnerving when you are in the middle of a mag change and realize your mag holder is still attached to the magazine. I'd like to hear what others say about the belt version, because I'm going to be looking into that next.

Absolutely hate anything paddle. The good point about them is you can put it anywhere on your belt without regard to belt loops. The bad part is that they don't always stay where you put them. Go with a quality belt or IWB mag carrier, you won't regret it.

It would be a lot more secure if you went with something like the Blackhawk carrier. it clips on the belt, but is very secure. I'd also recommend single pouches over doubles...adds versatility to placement on the belt.
