    OEM CZ springs

Does anyone know what weights the OEM recoil and main springs are on a CZ 75B SA?

My google-foo is weak this morning...

14# recoil spring I believe. Not sure on the main spring.

      Hammer spring could be 20#

Thanks, I was figuring 14# on the recoil spring too. But when you go to order a mainspring on cz custom they list all of their mainsprings as reduced power

Try Wolff Gunsprings. I bought new springs from them and they work very well. Standard mainspring is 20#, IIRC.

20#? Wow then people that are running 13# springs are really running light. Thanks.

When you said 'mainspring', I assumed you meant 'hammer spring'.

Let me clarify: Hammer Spring for full size models is 20# (standard). Don't confuse it with the recoil spring, which is 14#.

I use a standard hammer spring on both of my CZ-75's. A 15# recoil spring on my 9mm CZ75, and a 16# on the 40 cal.

              Sorry about the confusion.

No confusion. By main spring I meant hammer spring. I've seen replacement main springs that are like 13# or 14#...
