can anyone explain why "the most advanced single action revolver" doesn't have that niffy indexing feature that lines up chambers with the loading gate for 'fumble free' loading and unloading that guns in 1800s had?

Will I 'lose' anything with this kit except a few pounds of trigger pull? Will it negate the Ruger "OK to carry 6 bullets" system?

Haven't even shot the gun yet, but with snap caps in "fanning" seems to drop the hammer if trigger kept pulled. Is the Hammer Block Bar working but with Snap Caps I just can't tell? I thought new Rugers wouldn't let that happen for safety reasons.

Will fanning work with the kit?

I don't have this kit but from looking at the picture I can see the hammer is cut it to accommodate the transfer bar so it should be safe with a full cylinder.

Seems like an expensive kit to me.

Thanks, any cheaper kits you would recommend, especially with better instructions?

This comes with 999th generation re-photocopied that is said to be 'very poorly written' and even harder to read.

Also it WILL leave a mark on cylinder and "THIS HAS TO BE!". I was kinda hoping to avoid cylinder scratch.
