Bought a CZ 75 BD

Was in the market for my first semi-automatic (I have several revolvers), decided on a 9mm and was trying to choose among a Beretta 92FS, Browing Hi-Power and CZ 75. The range I go to only had the Beretta to try out and though I liked it, the grip felt a bit too big for my smaller hands. Went to Fowlers in Tustin and they had all three pistols so I was able to compare all three (CZ 75BD), at least as to how they felt in my hands. The CZ was hands down the most comfortable to hold and given the comparative price it was an easy decision. My only concern was that I'd read some people have difficulty with the narrow grip slide. While it's not as easy to rack as the Beretta or the Browning, I didn't find it to be a problem. I also sort of like the de-cocker, maybe because I'm used to shooting revolvers. In any event, I pick it up in 9 days and can't wait to get to the range.

Your now spoiled for semi autos lol. Same thing happened to me. It was between a baretta 92fs or a czp01. I ended up with the cz and couldn't be happier. Accurate as poop and soft on the recoil, I've been able to hit up to 100yds with my .40 SA. Love these guns so much I'm SSE'ing a p07 soon.

Good taste!! Congrats on the CZ75BD, absolutely my favorite! The Beretta is great, however it was too large for my hands as well, too bad! I am on the hunt for the Browning, can't wait.
