I have that on all of my Sig. A little too much grease maybe?

Sorry...I meant does this grease come from the factory like that. My SIG is my only pistol I haven't pulled apart like that.

Milcom TW-25. This grease is what the sig comes with from the factory. Totally normal- my Sig P226 originally came on the same way. The P220- the same.

My HK P30S 9mm came with a lot of grease inside when new---cleaned it up---oiled it---been perfect, like any HK should be...

Yep, normal. Although it does collect debris in time. All my factory grease has been removed during cleaning, now I just spray the area with a generous amount of CLP and soak up the extra liquid with a Qtip.

Here's what a former smith at Gray Gun Industries has to say about greasing Sigs. Seems about on par.
