    Ruger GP100 Match Champion

Just shot this today at Raahauges and came away very impressed! It has a great balance, and I didn't realize how smooth the stock Ruger DA trigger could be. I definitely will be looking for one when they become available!

The rep at the booth said it already passed the CA safety testing, and it would appear on the roster soon.

The cylinder looks like it tapers down in diameter toward the forcing cone. Too much buffing action?

I've had my eyes on one for a while. Good to know that they are working on getting it on the roster, as none of my local FFL's do SAE's on revolvers.

That's good news that it should make the roster soon. I'd very much like to pick one up.

I saw one before and fondled with it. Definitely a nice revolver with a very smooth action. I did not pick it up because I already have a 686 SSR. Otherwise, I would have.

Nice! When I called Ruger a month or two ago and asked if it's ever coming to CA, the lady knew nothing.

If this gets into the roster, It would be hard for me to choose between this and a ss 6"

My guess would be that they identified this as a place where built up crud could cause a problem?

I would expect a "Match Champion' handgun to have adjustable sights...
