Yes, it can ship to your door.
You can not install it on a frame until somehow the threads are gone.
Gone can be pin/welded with a compensator. -
There is no law prohibiting the simple ownership of a threaded barrel.
Installing the threaded barrel in a semi-auto handgun will produce an illegal "Assault Weapon."
Prior to People v. Nguyen, I would have (please not the deliberate use of the past verb tense) believed it completely legal to possess the threaded barrel. After Nguyen, it may be possible to face charges, on something similar to a "constructive possession" theory (as occurred in the Nguyen case, even though they didn't call it "constructive possession") if you possess both the threaded barrel, and a semi-auto pistol into which it could be installed.If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for the evening.
