    Springfield Hi-Cap 1911 in CA?

Did I miss it or is the PW9701L not available here? How does one go about getting a Springfield wide body in this here state? Any other options?

Its near impossible unless you run into someone that already owns one and is willing to sell it in CA. Other than that you're probably better off looking for a Para.

In addition to the Para high caps, Wilson Combat also offers the KZ-45 that is CA approved. Might be worth looking into depending on your budget.

Wilson is building my KZ45 currently, and I expect to have it at my FFL in the next few weeks. I have shot one before, and it's a great gun. This is far and away my top choice for a 10+1 capacity 1911 (not counting traditional 1911's with a McCormick sticking out the bottom!)

Do you mean the wide body Springfields were sold here before? If so, do you know how long ago, etc?

I don't know if they were ever sold here but there is the off chance that someone moved in from out of state who has one and now wants to sell it.

Armscor has emailed to say they are hoping to submit it for approval next year, and Springfield has said maybe next year.

              Sigh.
