    glock 22 9mm barrel conversion Q?

hey there. looking to convert my glock 22 to 9mm instead of buying a glock 17. ive looked online and there is a barrel that says "glock 22 to 9mm conversion". what is the difference than just buying a glock 17 9mm barrel? cant i just buy this and replace it with my .40 barrel? http://www.midwayusa.com/product/335...ProductFinding

No do not put a standard G17 9mm barrel In a G22! Yes it will fit however it is slightly smaller as it was designed to go in a smaller 17 slide. You will not have proper lockup and alignment. Lone Wolfs 22 9mm conversion barrel is excellent, it's basically a larger G22 barrel bored out to 9mm. They work great and all you will need is some 17 mags.

Second what 36Ford said. I bought a Lone Wolf conversion barrel for my G22 and have been extremely happy with it. If anything, it's even softer shooting than an actual G17 (subjective to me) as it certainly seems like the conversion barrel thickness is more than a standard G17 barrel. Oh, and 100% reliable with OEM Glock 9mm mags.

Here is a link to Lone Wolf's conversion barrels.

Lone Wolf Arms is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts for Glocks. We also have M&P Shield, Beretta/Taurus, and Browning Hi-Power parts.

LW barrels are a hit and a miss sometimes. I'd look at StormLake or KKM barrels if I were to get another 9mm conversion barrel.
