    Grips for a Ruger GP100

I'm looking for some small grips for my GP100. I've currently got some Hogue monos on it, and while it's a vast improvement over the factory standard (the older model grips with the wood panels), which were a bit too big, and stung my hands a bit, I find the finger spacing to be slightly awkward, though the size itself seems to be a good fit.

I think I'm probably looking for something about the same size as the monos, or maybe a bit smaller, but perhaps with a more tightly grouped finger spacing (I have small hands) or no molded finger spacing at all.

I mean I've found other grips online, different models of Hogue, and some Pachmayrs (I've read complaints about the quality though), but it's hard to gauge the size online. So....help a girl out guys.

I have small hands as well or at least short fingers, could not reach the double action with the Houge was better with the wood panels and the Pachmayrs fit just right, yes you will find many people say that the quality sucks with the Pachmayrs - well they a kind of right, it's not the quality it's the fit & finish. the seam shows, there is a distinct line where the two halves were molded together and is less than appealing to the eye... BUT a bit careful trimming with a razor blade and you are good to go.

I have Hogues on mine. I'd like a nice wood round butt grip, but to get one that's worthwhile it's very expensive. Maybe a factory Ruger wood grip?

Love the Pachmayr grips. Nice and slim. I used a razor blade to trim the extra flashing from the seam. They feel much better than the factory and hogue grips.

Well all right. I'll give the Pachmayrs a try then.

I'd say look at Badger grips but they will not reduced the felt recoil like the Hogue Tammer grips. I personally did not like the finger groves on my grips so I sanded them to shape, added some shogoo for a slightly different contour, then buffed it out smooth. If you would like to try my "my" improved grip send me a pm and I'll send you some pictures. If you want, you can give them a test drive.

i got lucky. the mono grip on the gp100 fits me just fine.
the older or different style wood and rubber combo grips look much smaller and that is what most gp100 users go for if they need to get a grip.
Slapping an upper onto a lower is not "building" an AR-15.
