XDM 40 compact

Just picked one up to add to my LTC. What's a good source for CA compliant 10 round mags? Mine's a .40 if that matters.

The "M" 9 & 40 caliber have never been available in 10 rounds or less by factory, just normal capacity.

The 45 caliber magazine are interchangeable with the XD & XDM. Good reason to get a .45acp compact huh .

Do they come in 10 rounders? If not then mag block is the only option. SA did not make xd and xdm mags interchangeable, except for the .45.

Just as has been stated. I'm pretty sure they don't exist. I looked for some 10rd mags for my 4.5" xdm40 and ended up going with magblocks.

I'm aware that Springfield doesn't make 10 round factory mags. What I'm looking for is a source for mags blocked to 10 rounds.

Any ideas?

Yep not available. I bought mine before the mag kit laws changed and blocked them. Now the laws make it harder. Buy used or from a dealer with a high cap license who can permanently convert them.

Yes, problem now is how do you get such mags into your hands in order to apply mag blocks? Only way probably is to find a dealer with a high cap capability who can order then block the mags before they reach your possession.

I want 11 round mags permanently blocked to 10 rounds so I can use this as one of my carry guns.

Better yet, I'd like a Pierce base plate installed in place of the OEM base plate, AND have it permanently blocked to 10 rounds.

I can likely get this through the store I did the SSE with. I was just wondering if there were any known sources online for what I need. Looks like there may not be.

EDIT: Called my dealer and they ordered me a half dozen 11 rounders and will permanently block them to 10 for me. Also found out that Pierce doesn't make a base plate for the XDm .40C yet.

Pearce does make them for the XDm 40 magazine. I have one on mine.
