    Can someone please help

    Hi,

    I am looking at this:Springfield 1911-A1 45 .45 LOADED PX9151LP SS 7+1

and from what I have seen it IS on the CA handgun roster as a gun I can purchase. I went on GunBroker and see some of the listings say that it cannot be purchased by civilians, yet others don't mention it. Is this correct or am I misunderstanding?

    Thanks for the help
    Joe

AFIK, only one Springfield model is off limits to civilians and that is the Professional with the FBI serial prefix (CRG serial prefix are for civilian sales).

If they are listing no shipping to CA specifically, than it's just a house rule. They simply do not want to deal and updating on our ridiculous laws and shipping procedure.

Fixed sight SS 1911 Springfield Loaded. Common gun and on roster in CA.

Buy locally or order from any dealer who ships to CA.

I have a SA "Champion" loaded 4" 45 in stainless---a truly excellent pistol of the 1911 type...

I had a Springfield Loaded SS. The gunsmith at Kings in L.A. told me they use a .38 suprr firing pin.

Thank you guys. The story behind it was a typo according to the dealer. No problems.

            Thanks for the help
