I've had a Citadel 1911 for not quite a year now and it's an amazing pistol for the money. It's extremely accurate and so far has performed flawlessly. Here's a target from a few weeks ago. That's 3 mags worth of holes at 10 yards.

When I got the pistol I noticed the rear sight had dots but they weren't colored at all. So I dipped a toothpick in paint a filled the small dots. Its worked out well but the front post had no dot what so ever.
I started researching front sights but have heard that some people have had trouble swapping sights. So until I find a fiber optic or night sight I came up with a solution.
I took some soft jaws and placed my pistol in the vise. I angled it so the front sight was level. Then I center punched the sight to dimple it. Then drill it out a bit so the dimple was deep enough to accept some paint.

I think a replacement sight would be best but this should work.
