    Mag blocks

Ok so going to be moving from Nevada to Sacramento in a couple of months

I see conflicting "advice" on whether mag blocks need to be permanently epoxied in or pop-rivited in OR just slipped in the mag

the gun in question is my XDM 5.25 in 9mm ,,, seems 10 round "aftermarket" mags are not available so blocks are my only option

CA law doesn't define what constitutes permanence so unless there's clarification stated so in a letter it'll probably come down to a court case.

If you'll ever use it in a self defense scenario then at least epoxy one mag as a precaution. If it's simply a range gun then I wouldn't bother.

I would say that the slip in kind are good to go. Can't see why you would need to rivet or epoxy the block in.

If SB 396 passes it won't matter.
