I bought a pistol a few months ago. The pistol slide markings say CZ 75 Compact D 9mm but the outer box label say CZ 75 Compact P-01. The label also show a model code 01199 which points also to P-01 (On the DOJ roster CZ 75 D is model code 01194 and CZ 75 compact is model code 01190).
The dealer DROSed it as a CZ 75 Compact P-01 as what is on the outer box label disregarding the markings on the gun slide.
The gun's serial number all match (gun, outer box label and warranty booklet). Now the warranty booklet say CZ 75 Compact D not P-01.
I called CZ customer service and told them about my gun. I was told that my serial number is a P-01 unit. I did not get an explanation why my slide did not have a P-01 marking. Instead i was referred to contact my dealer. I contacted my dealer and was told that CZ has several variations of P-01 and Compact D is one of them. By the way, mine has a light rail option unlike the PCR.
My question is what model is my gun and did the DROS processed correctly? I'm confused.
