    Voter sample ballot

I live in apartments and just moved I need proof of residency as I use my p.o. box for everything. Will the voter sample ballot and information pamphlet work as por since it is issued by the government and comes to my apartment? I really don't feel like changing my address to buy a gun, especially since I don't buy that often.

I have purchased guns from different gun shops around the San Francisco Bay Area. Each shop has different rules. I know this isn't right, but I don't push it. There is always one shop that will see a form of ID as being acceptable. You should go to different stores and ask them what they accept, but in my opinion an absenty ballot won't work.

tried using it at Aces and they told me no. They said we need official proof of residency, i laughed as they said it. So i wouldn't count on it working.....

None of your utility bills say for service @ ......... then your address. I know its mailed to a PO box but sometimes they show where the service is (I.e trash bill, cable or satellite, gas etc) just a thought. My trash bill comes to my home and is addressed to me but on the bill it says " for service at.. then my home address"

Not to thread jack, but I had a similar question. I'm looking to change my address on my ca ID( not DL, not needed) and a utility bill( gas) this should work, correct? ( the CA ID AND the Gas bill).

You live in an apartment. Use a copy of your lease. That + vehicle registration and you're good to go.
We in Bangor, Maine now baby.

The lease has to be notarized in order to be seen as "official"

                    So? Get it notarized.

Also, I've used lease agreements that weren't notarized. YMMV.
