745 Pistol, 237 Revolver, 24 Derringer, & 1 Smart Gun.

Of the 745 pistols, most are discontinued, doubles on finish or caliber, and are just like dodo birds to get. The other half are relics and less safe then their updated generations.
Seriously, there not much to choose from.

Except a few models, the rest of dropped guns were really old versions, not really popular on store shelves.

Some S&W and Ruger models are quite popular. Soon all you have left are some 1911, gen 3 Glock, Springfield XD and CA compliant Sig.

How did the Smart Gun get on there? Did it make it before the micro stamping took effect?

I ask because I thought to make the list the following had to be included:
1) Mag safety
2) Loaded chamber indicator
3) and now Micro Stamping

Ergo, only grandfathered pistols can be sold through FFL in CA.
