Sorry can't help with the C&R gun, but here's a current revolver chambered in 30-30

I think I remember hearing about a revolver chambered in .30 carbine, but never 30-30. Would be pretty cool to see one.

A company named Phelps IIRC made single action .30-30 revolvers. They also made them in .45-70. The revolver that may have been referred to by your abuelo was maybe a .32-20 or a .44-40 or a .38-40 as rifles were also chambered in these calibers.

I doubt one from that era existed.

Metalurgy would be a little suspect I would think. Nowadays there is that outfit that builds the huge revolvers around the .45-70 so it is quite possible sombody could drill a new cylinder for it.

It was around 1910-1920 when that Revolution happened....The Cartridge came out 1895. So i would think its possible.

They are huge. Must be a nice gun. The only i have found in production is the BFR from magnum research. Big gun... it's nice though...

Can we own this revolver in California? or does the safe list include revolvers too?

Single actions that meets the length criteria are exempt from the approved list.

As mentioned, it would be just about impossinble for a revolver to have been chambered in. 30-30Win in the 1910-1920 time frame. it would have had to be a custom job and the metallurgy and such was not up to it at the time most likely. I'd bet the gun was a .32-20 of some sort.
