are the TRP Operators with the full rail still being made???

    His answer:
    Yes, but only semi-annually.

He also offered to make a custom gun that would exceed the TRP quality….until i told him i'm from CA. He didn't even want to try to make something custom for CA. so anyways good news they will continue to make them on a limited basis.

They have always been "batch built", good to hear they are keeping them in the rotation.

It is really not that he didn't want to build you a custom CA gun...it's just that the roster gets in the way.

Yeah bad news is, time is now to get them until they close up the SSE loop hole , then bye bye forever, unless a miracle happens and they put it on roster with microstamping (lol YEAH RIGHT!)

SACS will build you whatever you like -- here in CA, it's just easier to send them a base gun for customizing (no roster worries) rather than a checklist for a new pistol that would have to comply with CA restrictions and regulations.
I had contacted Ed Brown regarding the railed version of their SF -- and while they are planning on another batch, it will not be for sale in CA...

The main ways for a non exempt person to get a SACS build from Springfield would be to send them a base gun or arrange for an SSE of a new build. SACS cannot build a non "roster" model gun to "comply with" the roster.

They can build a Professional Light Rail for you, which is on the Roster. Outside of that, the only thing you need is an FFL outside of CA to receive the pistol, then forward it to an FFL in CA, which is what Table Rock Arms is in the business of doing. Obviously, the pistol would need to be finished and in CA before January 1st, which is highly unlikely.

What a sweet gun. Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to own/afford one.
