    Moving back to CA

Not entirely by choice but that's another story. I'm in Virginia till mid July and will be relocating to San Diego. Recommend some off list handguns for personal use or other. Also in the event of other, what would you suggest nets the greatest margins.

A used but in excellent condition P7 I supposed since they are somewhat of a rare commodity here in CA.

Is Virginia any better where 2A is concerned?
        Awfully close to the swamp.

Most likely the new stuff coming out, if they come out before you move, like the hk striker fired pistol, hk p30sk, fns9 compact, sig p320 compact, walther ccp.
Do I look like I'm ready for homework?

I'd suggest guns that don't have comparable substitutes on the roster. Currently:

                      Sig P227
                      Sig P938
                      Ruger SR22
                      S&W M&P22
                      Springfield XDM & XDS
                      Remington 1911

Guns that are hard to SSE such as the Ruger SR22 pistol. They are probably pretty inexpensive where you're at.

Other than that get something for yourself before you move. Gen 4 Glock, Walther PP?, Sig P227, Sig P210, 9mm 1911, whatever you like because it will spare you some hassle later.

Good list. Be sure to buy before you come. You should like SD, the weather is fantastic, the people nice, the countryside is beautiful.
