    s&w 617?

so it looks like this thing's fallen off the roster as recently as two months ago. is it expected to get back on, or is this a sign that they won't renew? what's the usual wait time for renewal?

any news or insight is appreciated.

Pretty frustrating that this classic .22LR revolver is a no no for Californians, isn't it?

617 can easily get back on the roster because the trio of "problematic" features doesn't apply to revolvers: magazine disconnect safety, loaded chamber indicator and microstamping.

Its an expensive .22 but man its so nice and a 22 doesnt have hardly any recoil as it is and this gun is heavy so its literally none. Wouldnt sell mine for sure!

I was planning on buying one within the year. It never occurred that their .22 revolver would disappear like many of their other guns. Really annoying. Especially if this is a permanent decision.

^ When you discover it's favorite ammo, it's pretty hard not to.

Just thinking about S&W .22LR revos (17's, 18's, 617's) makes me want to grab my nephew,
