HK P7 and SSE

Is it possible to SSE this firearm? It has a fixed barrel which makes me doubt that you could which comes to my second question. Is there any legal way to purchase this firearm without PPT or buying it from the Marketplace?

If you have enough $$ it can be done. Fabricating a rifled barrel would be a challenge that meets the OAL SSE at least 6" barrel, oal of 10.5". HK sells replacement barrels at $279 that a smith can weld two together to make seamless rifling. Or you can fabricate one, but that must be really expensive. Stock barrels are 4.1 inches.

Then sledding a magazine - magazine is around $60, the having smith removing disconnect to single shot. Maybe easier with P7M8 model since this is push button release vs heel release on PSP.

After you take possession, have to get a smith to put back original barrel since P7 aren't drop in like glocks, sigs, etc.

Can be done, but time you are through, it's almost double cost of pistol. Unless you have LEO credentials to avoid roster. I'd just put a WTB ad.

Luckily I snapped up a PSP on calguns back in 2011 and great price. There's deals out there.

Since you're in LA, talk to the folks at EBR works. They're in Ventura/Thousand Oaks area. They've got a universal 9mm SSE kit.

yes, it can be SSE'd just like any other 9mm firearm.

Yes it can be done, we are doing one now.

Requires a little more work but doable. Contact EBR works, they can take care of ya.

The .25 universal barrel inserts should still fit and allow you to SSE the pistol.
