Found a nice lock for stock GLock Case

I found this little gem of a cable lock at Target. It fits snug, cost $7, and has the supports the TSA masterkey. It's a bit of a pain to put on at first, but once you figure it out, but it's no big deal

My trick is to press the end of the cable firmly against the case and move the body of the lock to close it.

I prefer this to wrapping the lock cable lock multiple times around the handle or the big heavy U-lock which fits over the handle. I have all 3, but only use the little cable lock now.

Mine has held up great over the years. The flexible cable makes it very versatile.

It's nice, but the lock is there only to satisfy the legal requirement, so having a fancy lock that is "better" than the regular cable is not really a plus.

That is, unless you don't have a safe. In that case it might be useful, but you should get a safe if you don't have one.

I use these locks on my pistol rugs that have the lockable zippers that meet in the middle. They work great.
I did a PPT and locked a standard Glock case just like you did - kind of a pain which is why I prefer the rugs.

I prefer a briefcase. A Glock case just begs a search. Lock or not.

Also, on locked zippered case where you lock the zipper tabs, you can sometimes bend the zipper area back and slide the zippers back to open the case.

Personally when I transport weapons I do not transport them in a Gun case.

Law enforcement has the right to inspect your firearm if they know about it.

Why would you want a gun lock that the TSA can open? If you're going to fly with a firearm it has to be a lock that ONLY YOU can open.

You can get that same lock at Walmart.
