I finally picked up my Colt "Bob Chow" 1911 today. I tried to get an idea ahead of time on what the going rate was for these, but instead had to rely on my own common sense and knowledge to decide if it was going to be a good deal or not. I got the gun, 250rnds of premium ammo, 12 mags, and a holster. I obviously can't just lock this one up in the safe without shooting it, so I'll post a blog as soon as I have a chance to take it to the range.
As far as I can tell from the serial #, it was manufactured in 1968. I'm not really up to speed on Colts to know if this is a good thing or if they're better years of mfg. Those who know Colts might want to respond. I'll post again after I get back from the range.
