There is a online vendor called Firearms For Sale. They have the special configuration P226 ($680 shipped) and P229 ($667 shipped). My local SSE FFL was on file on their drop down menu, so I decided to pull the trigger on the P226. This model is built on a MK25 frame with coated internals, SRT, E2 grips, night sights, and what they call the Legacy slide with the old style short extractor. No mags included, but I don't care, I'll buy some ten rounders.

Seems impossibly low priced. Pretty much an mk25 with srt? And I only see it listed for 829.

Better... E2 MK25 with SRT, no anchor, no sticker... but MK25 has chrome lined barrel, not sure what this has.... remember, no mags come with it, so figure $80
for a couple of 10 rounders.. The P229 version of this is $667!

Got the same special config p226 from DAS, actually got their last one few days ago no mags though so had to get a couple of those for now. Still hopped up 226 for cheaper then a base model version 226

Just ordered a Serpa CQC holster for it designed for the 2022 (also has a real 1913 rail and read it should fit good

How much was DAS offering those for?

I've got a P226 Elite E2 (9mm) on layaway with grabagun. I think it was $830 or so. I will have to SSE but my LGS will block the mags.
