    Shield'9 pricing..

Thinking of selling my NIB Shield'9 to fund another project, it's a Ca. version from Turner's. What's the fair price going these days? Thanks!

I bought mine for 417 before tax and DROS today... It was from Turner's but I had a 5% friend discount. They are 439.99

I paid $455 OTD for the SSE-version. Don't know how much more/less the CA-version is.
We in Bangor, Maine now baby.

you got a ridiculously good deal then... moreso if that included SSE.

my CA-compliant Shield 9 is in jail for $490 OTD here.

to the OP, selling it for ~$500 with all transfer fees included is probably not unreasonable if it's NIB to a buyer who must have it immediately. supply is still short in some areas due to demand, i think. that said, S&W said they were committed to keeping this SKU in the CA-market for the foreseeable future (along with the SDVE series), so they shouldn't be "rare" at all once the market settles out.

$460 wouldn't sell it. After DROS it's the same as buying new from Turners. No higher than $430 I'd say. Depends on the age as well. Warranty is only for a year and I believe only to the first owner. Part of the cost of the gun is the warranty; so keep that in mind.

                Yup, and it does

Still have another few weeks wait for my SSE-queue, though.

My favorite LGS, Alquist, has them regularly for $399. My favorite LGS/Range (a bit on the pricey side) has them for $459.

                      Not near me.

And don't worry, I'll be posting a shout-out thread when I get it.

My gen 4 Glock 19 thread will be sooner (buying from the same shop).

S&W firearm warranties have been for the lifetime of the original purchaser for as long as I can remember. Personally I can't imagine why anyone would pay more than $350-375 for no-warranty weapon that's reasonably available brand new with a lifetime warranty for $440, but if someone is strapped for cash and needs a carry it's a nice little pistol. Of course the real value is whatever the market will bear.
