That looks like a deal and a half. Just like CZ-75s were a few years back.

If I didn't already have too many 9mms, I'd seriously buy that gun. Who knows, in 5 years maybe people will be like "Wow, remember when these were only $300?" Seriously, that's a deal right there.

Yeah but the model he posted is a clone of the Walther P99 so it won't accept CZ mags. It also has a weird hybrid DA/SA striker with decocker. The trigger is quite awful IMO. I'd stick to the CZ clones as in some manners they are better than stock CZ pistols.

Seems like if you want a SP-01 then you might want to wait a couple months. They should be more available so the price will drop back to the $600 range that they should be at. And supposedly the California SKU will be in stock so you don't have to spend money for SSE.

How do you know the trigger is terrible on the polymer caniks?

probably about 450 otd including SSE... worth it? I like that they're like 1.7lbs and full size, 4.25" barrel

I think he was referring to the Canik 55 Tp-9's which are the walther clone. I have heard they have bad triggers as well

If you want a cz polymer clone, get the sar b6p. great trigger out of the box and in the low $300 before any fees/taxes

I've shot a couple Caniks. TP9 left a lot to be desired and I just don't care for its hybrid action at all. The Shark FC was very nice and as good as any CZ out of the box with the exception of maybe the new P07/P09 or their $1k sp01 variants. The SAR B6P often goes on sale for around $250 and is definitely worth picking up at that price. If you want a tact rail or a gun with better sights opt for the K2P though they go for around $300 on sale.

Shot both my Caniks this morning, the more I shoot them the more I like them. So far only 500 rounds fired in the Shark and 400 in the TP-9 but no issue and good combat guns. The Dawson Precision sights on the TP-9 are great, need to up grade the Shark sights, but stock are serviceable. Here's a couple pics.
