    Good experience at Irvington Arms

I began a PPT on a Springfield XD at Irvington Arms in Fremont yesterday based on recommendations from the Calguns community.

I had a very positive experience there. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The black lab is friendly. All the transfer elements/proceedures were thorough and professional. I didn't even get talked down to or lectured like at certain other stores I've been to in the past.

I hope to give them some return business more than $10 in the future.

It's a good crew there. I've been meaning to make a trip over there to check their supply of surplus mausers.

Good people, good service. The best compliment I can give them is my return business. There are alot of pretenders out there, these guys are for real.

Thumbs up for Irvington Arms and Martin (posts on CalGuns)

He's a good model to base our business off of - friendly atmosphere, and a professional business attitude.

martin is a good guy. another guy that works there (won't mention who) made a mistake that cost me. i brought the matter up with martin and returned to the store where he fixed it right away. because of that, i spent more money before i left the store. if i hadn't moved further up north, i'd be giving him more business.

Hello again chunger, nice to do business with you and my impressions of Irvington Arms are the same. If he were closer Id visit more often. That Sig Equinox he had in the case looked pretty tempting too.

              A+

A+ to Martin and his staff. A very professional and knowledgeable dealer to deal with.

I love that store, its so nice to go to a gun shop and not get hassled. They have always been extremly nice and helpful to me.

How are their prices compared to Target Masters? I just bought a SIG 220ST online($799) and they were asking $900+ plus tax for the same gun at Milpitas...

Phone and ask for a quote.
They will try to check their distributors inventory and give you an answer while you wait. Failing that, they will call back later.

I've bought there many times after doing exactly that.
Their prices have always been better than Davidsons and competitive with the best I've seen on the web.

With superb service and minimum hassle, I'm not going punish myself searching to see if I could do $20 better elsewhere. I order, I receive, and I go home happy.

                      Fud.
                      Change is bad!
