Can one take and pass the HSC test and take posession/start DROS of a handgun on the same day? IOW, is there a period between passing the test and issuance of the card?

Yep, not a problem. There is not peroid between passing the test and recieving the card. -

Yes you can take the test and start the DROS at the same time, but you have to pass the test (HSC test) first, if you don't then no go, obviously, on the DROS. I just did this last wednesdayComment

Yes you can start a Dros the same day you get your HSC....
